Jesus said, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the Harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest.” (Luke 10:2)
This passage is as relevant today as it ever was. The harvest is indeed still great, and the laborers far too few. God is looking for individuals to carry his message of love and compassion out into the world to comfort the lost and the poor, the brokenhearted and discouraged, the blind and the bruised.
Saint Mark’s Volunteer Missions do just that, and there’s room for everyone to participate. We know Jesus is the answer for the world today.
