Adult Forum
Each Sunday
morning, the Adult Forum meets in the Parish Hall. From time to time
discussion of various topics and issues involving the life of our parish
may be featured, but typically we'll be studying one
book of the Bible at a time. All adults
are invited to be part of this time for instruction in scripture and
formation in faith.

Children's Sunday
School
Christian education for
children ages 3-12 is a high priority at St. Mark's. We offer a
Lectionary-based curriculum that introduces the children to the themes
and seasons of the Church Year and stories from the Bible. We seek to
channel and nourish a natural love of God in them. A weekly service in
the children's chapel helps young Christians learn the the liturgy in a
child-friendly atmosphere. Children are welcome in the main services and
generally join the congregation prior to communion each week.
Sunday School classes meet from September through
May.

Confirmation Class
The
confirmation class is a twelve-week course in Christian discipleship
which is intended to increase our knowledge, commitment and devotion to
God in Christ. Special emphasis is placed on our identity as Anglican
Christians coming from an ancient tradition of English Spirituality
which has a unique blend of intellectual content with heartfelt
emotional bonding with our Savior. Classes are led by the clergy and may
be supplemented by lay members of the parish who have a particular
expertise in some dimension of Christian life and witness. Registration
is required because of space limitations and program demands.

Women's
Bible Study
Women (all ages)
of the parish are invited to attend a Bible study class on Tuesday
evenings at 7:00. The current study covers the Women of the Bible and
extends to wherever our ramblings take us from that starting point.
Discussions are informal, lively, timely, and wide-ranging.

Women (of all ages) are
invited to attend the Women's Book Study on the 2nd Wednesday of the

book that is relevant to our lives. Each month we discuss 1 or 2
chapters of the book. Currently we are reading The Worry Free Life:

The Good by Terence J. Sandbek, Ph.D. and Patrick W. Philbrick.

Despite today's fast-paced world, people desperately want to live their
lives with great passion and conviction. They seek answers from the
Bible, pastors and even counselors...and yet they are unable to find
peace because of excessive worry and destructive emotions.

thought processes to healthy ones -- and eliminate worry -- so you are
