I’m happy to announce that choir rehearsals will resume at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
Please join us in making a joyful noise unto the Lord! All are welcome. For more information, contact us or speak with Frank C. directly.
He who sings prays twice (St. Augustine).

The Top Ten things to consider about singing in the choir at St. Mark’s:
1. No formal vocal training is needed! As the psalmist says, “Make a joyful NOISE unto the Lord!”
2. The choir robes are really WARM in wintertime…and…
3. You’d have to PAY to sweat this much in a sauna!
4. The Rector will REALLY appreciate your service in this ministry…we cover up his voice well.
5. Rehearsals are CONVENIENTLY held on Wednesday evenings… following the Wednesday evening service. (Okay, okay — you’re right…we ARE trying to boost attendance.)
6. You get to participate in an additional hour of fellowship with St. Mark’s parishioners.
7. Choir members often receive FREE chair massages from George W.! Darn well worth the price of admission, too!
8. Join the choir and stay up-to-the-minute on current church news.
9. At the end of the service, you can be the first to LEAVE without anyone noticing!
10. And finally… When you sit in the choir stalls, the Rector almost NEVER looks at YOU while preaching the sermon!
