At St. Mark’s, we engage the Scriptures in the context of our Faith and Tradition.
The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments contain everything necessary for
our salvation. Through study of the Bible we come into a fuller understanding of God and our selves, find spiritual nourishment, and are given a pattern for a full life. As with other aspects of our life in Christ, our study is both an individual and corporate pursuit. Personal study is best done in conversation with the larger community through a trusted study guide or commentary. Couples Bible study, sharing the Word with friends and participating in a class or group study enhance our understanding while providing a strong foundation for continued growth in our relationships.
