Tuesday, May 1st, the Adventure Team will depart the Parish Hall at 10:45AM for lunch at LaMadeleine SMU then proceed to SMU’s DeGolyer Library to view “Charles Dickens at 200 Years.” On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens, SMU’s DeGolyer Library is displaying 200 items including all of Dicken’s major works in original editions as well as prints, drawings and other ephemera.
