Summer is the busiest time for food banks, and Irving Cares is experiencing a 30% increase in the requests for food assistance. They are seeing an average of over 800 families that need food. With school out, families that depend on meals being provided at school now have hungry kids at home all day, often with little food. So, we at St. Mark’s are responding with our Father’s Day Food Blessing! All proceeds collected between June 17th and July 1st will go to benefit needy families at Irving Cares.
